About the book
How the Platypus Became is a lyrical picture book for children aged 4–8, exploring themes of curiosity, self-acceptance and belonging through the origin story of one of nature’s most unusual animals.

The story began as a handwritten book I created for my younger sister when I was ten years old, and has since been reimagined as a fully illustrated picture book with artwork by illustrator Ffion Evans.

How the Platypus Became is available through IngramSpark - ISBN-13 (978-1-0682329-0-9).
